Is there a way for the congo to "auto save" a show instead of telling it to do it?
We had a problem last night during plotting when some fool turned off the power to the desk. Luckily the congo hop had saved the show 10 mins earlier.
Thanx

Hi there -
As Florian said, we don't have AutoSave, and here's why... It always saves at the wrong moment. For small show files this may not be seen as a problem, but for very large files, it can really be a pain when the software decides it's time to save the file just as you need to do something critical. We have made improvements in this area, so that show saving is not as console-consuming as in the past, and in v6.1 we added a gentle reminder about saving your show file if you have made changes that have not been saved in the last 30 minutes. However it still is a good idea to be religious about saving your own data as you program (it only takes a second to press ALT & UPDATE, MODIFY.) And, if someone has the ability to flip a switch and cut off your power from afar, or you are running on a generator that may run out of fuel (which is what happened to me...) then the UPS is really a very good idea for more than just show data reasons.
Thanks much -
