fade times for effects

Using a congo kid and recorded a theatre style show using content effects for some of the dance numbers. However the effects did not fade out with the next cue, they snaped out with the go button.

What setting do I need to tweek to get it to do what I want?

I'm not sure what you mean here - what was the effect and what would you like to happen?
- Perhaps attach your showfile so we can take a look and make suggestions.

Content Effect Playbacks are based on absolute values (palettes/presets etc), so they continue to run until they get to 0%, with any Intensity portion scaled with the Intensity of the Content Effect Playback and merged HTP with the rest of the console.

Dynamic Effect Playbacks scale the Size of the effect as they are Relative effects - perhaps these would suit better for this particular effect?
