Patch from remote

Hello!

Here's another one. I splitted the questions in different threads to make it easier for others to search for the answers. Is it possible, or is it going to be possible, to patch from the "big" remote (RFR?).

Thanks again!

  • Hi Anton -

We don't currently have a plan to add patching to the RFR, however, I'm curious to know how you would like to see patching implemented on that unit.  Care to share your thoughts?

    Thanks much -

  • Although patching would be nice (I have a cRRFU, by the way), what I really would like to see implemented is a way to do dimmer/output checks with the remote, in case we happen to be away from the board and need to check a circuit without patching it into the show.

  • I agrre totally. What you need is just an output button. Then you do the dimmer check and patch both live and blind directly from the remote just using [dimmernr] [output] [channelnr] [modify] or something like that. To be able to do this would actually be one of the main reasons for us to get a remote. Which we don't have now (we actually don't have a desk either but considering buying one).
