Congo Jr motherboard update/replacement

Hi,

I have a JR with the Y cable type DVI output, do the latest ones have two discrete DVI sockets on the back panel instead? Is a motherboard upgrade economic/feasible? I hate the Y-cable with a vengeance. (My JR is out of warranty so I'm happy to do it myself).

    Hi Pete -

    Do you have the DVI outputs on the back of your console at all or just a VGA output? If you see 2 DVI outputs and a VGA, then please give Tech Support a call, as they can give you the details on making your console Y-Cable-free. If you only have the single VGA port, then it would require a Motherboard change, and I'm not certain that that's possible to do with your console. Again, a call to Tech Support would be a good bet.

    Hi Sarah,

    Thanks for the reply. It has a single VGA output on the motherboard then the PCIe card with the Y-Cable out of it.
