We have a Congo console and junior networked together to a Net3 ACN gateway DMX RDM (ethernet to dmx convertor).
When we remove the dmx input to the dimmer rack the dimmers remain at their previous levels indefinitely - this is as we would expect since our Strand dimmers have been set to remain at their current levels in the event of a loss of incoming dmx.
However, when we physically remove the input to the convertor, after a few minutes the dimmers are commanded to 'fade to black'. It would seem that the ethernet to dmx convertor commands the dimmers to fade to black after a period when it detects a loss of ethernet input.
We do not want this, and would like the dimmers to remain at their current levels in the event of loss of input to the ethernet to dmx. Is this possible?
