Export to Expert command issue

hello,

we're having trouble to export a Congo file to Expert. we get the following error message :

(in french : impossible d'ouvrir ce fichier")

"impossible to open this file"

i don't understand this error message, since we're trying to write a file, not to open it...

we tried to export the file with a floppy disk reader, and with the following formatted disks : expert formatted, presto formatted, and brand new... nothing worked out.

by the way, we're trying to do this as a workaround : we wanted to export a congo file to Presto file. is it possible? i saw presto import is possible since 6.1.1, but not export. so we thought we'd export congo to expert and then use the expert import command on presto... :-p

Congo show files are natively USITT ASCII, this is why there are hardly any export functions because it's already "exported" to the most common interchange format.

Have you tried just opening the Congo file in Presto?

This will usually work.

Thanks for your answer Richard, i will give it a try, this could save me... but one question still remains : why this export to Expert command still does not work?
