Muting Channels

Always thought MUTE was only related to masters when it had a sequence/playback  on it . Just had a play with it to see what it did when it was just channels - had some interesting things go on . Anyone ever tried messing with this or know a bit more .

...Or is it the case that it mutes the master and its functions so it depends on the settings in that master

Cheers

  • The [MUTE] and [SOLO] keys apply to the Masters and Main Playback

It doesn't matter what's on them.

    Just for fun:

Try [MUTE] and [Playback] to mute all output from the A and B fields, leaving only the Masters and Independents working.

Equally, [Solo] and [Playback] effectively disables all the masters.
