Macro for turning off mtc

 this may have been answered before but is there a way you can enable and disable MTC receive in a macro as when you learn a macro you can&rsquo;t go into setting

While learning this live, you only will see a toggle of the option. 
 I highly suggest to use "Enable" and "Disable" in your Macro, right before the MidiTimeCode Key Word.

I want to turn show control off for MTC as the sound operator keeps triggering while I&rsquo;m programming 
 
 is there an easier way instead of learn and doing the motions so to speak can I just do this within the macro editor

You can either go to Setup > System > ShowControl to turn off MTC or disable External for the MTC event list in the show control tab. 
 Both of those are simpler to get right when learning the macro. You can absolutely go to the macro editor afterwards and clean up the macro but I recommend learning it first so you see what syntax you need.

Thank you for reaching out. I just tried going into setup while the macro is learning and I'm not seeing the problem. Can you elaborate a bit and please also add which software version you're using.
