IN one of the videos a suggestion was made to make conventional focusing a bit easier. Choose a range of fixtures at 50%. This puts them at a 50% level on the patch model then when each fixture is selected it virtually makes it full which makes it easy to see individually over the others.
Tried it yesterday however when the fixtures are running at 50% and in patch a fixture is selected, of course it does not go out live at 100%, only virtually in the model. Therefore there is no way of knowing which fixture is live on stage to see its position live to focus it in the model.
I also tried doing a @full rem dem next but of course when entering patch all that goes away.
So is there any way of focusing fixed fixtures in A3D to closely match live without having a second console doing the live outputting?
