Not sure if this is a bug or expected behavior.
Often my rigging programmer hands me a showfile with a magic sheet to merge and we use a sort of scheme based on the season, episode, day of the episode and which number set we are on. We ended up with a magic sheet with 8 characters (eg. 2402.713).
When I tried to type 2402.713 into the advanced merge target area, the first digit I typed (2) truncated when I typed in the last digit (3) leaving me with 402.713.
Obviously having a target with that many characters is unusual but I noticed this behavior and thought I’d mention it. Was able to replicate it with other strings of characters as well.
