Feature and improvement suggestions

Feedback from users like you help us shape and improve Eos for all productions. We receive a large number of feature requests and suggestions from many sources, including this forum. Your comments and votes help us understand which features you’re passionate about, but there are many additional factors which inform development prioritization for any given release.

The most helpful information you can provide us when commenting on issues is how a particular suggestion would help you. If you describe your use-case and how the suggested change would benefit your work, it lets us gain a much deeper understanding of the need behind the suggestion. Suggestions often have an impact on what we work on, even if we ultimately choose not to implement a suggestion exactly as it’s described. Our ultimate goal is to understand what you and all users need and to create solutions that meet those needs. Occasionally, that’ll mean implementing a suggestion as described, but it usually means working to understand the need behind the suggestion and how we can meet that need for as many users as possible.

While we endeavor to update and respond to popular suggestions, the volume we receive means there will be occasions when we can’t provide an update or response in a timely manner.   • "Manual mode". Allow multiple cues from 1 list loaded to separate faders at same time.

    You apply cue 1/1 , 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 to multiple sequential faders for true manual playback. Then unload when you want to move on. No subs, no presets, no work arounds tried them all. Too slow for Film/TV world.

  • "Out" should be Always Absolute

    I do a lot of work with Intensity Palettes, and sometimes I accidentally overwrite the data. If the Out command were Always Absolute, it might help prevent that. If I wanted to keep the palette reference, I could use "@ 00" instead.

  • Option to add channels to partition when selecting them

    It’d be very helpful to have the option to add a selected channel to a partition when selecting it, rather than just editing it outside of the partition.

  • Magic sheet editing - separate snap option for rotation

    When editing a magic sheet, I like to have object rotation snap but have everything else not snap. I would like to see a separate option for "snap rotation" that is independent of the snapping to grid option.

    Hello, i would love to see the current option for storing FX in Presets to change a little bit. If i want to store a Preset with an Effect, i currently need to activate that with a softkey. But i rather surgest that storing a FX in a preset is default...
