This may be deliberate however I'm not convinced it should be, but I've noticed today that the standard /eos/out/cue/x/y/fire is overriden by whatever setting you have configured in the "send string" field in setup - I had always confused that the custom message would be send in addition to the standard.
As I say this may be deliverate, but it's worth being aware of
