Cannot get nomad on line on Mac - eos 2.4.1 OSX 10.12.1

Hello

I've previously had nomad client running with no problem from my mac to an ion. However I am now trying to mirror a puck and am unable to get the machines to see each other.

In mac eos welcome screen settings the network is shown as online, with IP 192.168.1.100 subnet 255.255.255.0 and blank gateway (wired connection), however when I boot into mirror or offline mode [about] shows me IP: No network available

On the puck about screen I get IP 192.168.1.10 (subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.0 blank gateway)

Any ideas?

Have you tried pinging, the puck from the mac or vice versa? (in the shell on puck, or in Network Utility on MacOS) Depending on how old your computer is you might need a crossover network cable if you are not using switch. Also make sure that any Firewall is off, as it would limit network activity from specific applications.

Ping works fine both ways, as I say the shell settings page on my mac (modern mac with thunderbolt>ethernet) shows the network as active, but the [about] screen shows as "no network available" - very odd

Hello

I ended up deleting the application and reinstalling the same version - this worked so I assume it was a corrupt setting somewhere!
