Nomad on Virtual Server - USB key recognized by OS, but not Nomad software.

Subject says it all. We've verified the key works on Nomad installed directly on a PC. The VM sees the key in Device Manager but Nomad won't change the shell buttons from Offline to Primary, Backup, and Client.

Thoughts?

What hypervisor are you using? What method are you using to connect the USB device to the VM, is it some kind of emulated connection or hardware pass thru (e.g. intel Vt-d)?

I've had success getting Eos to use a dongle in a Win7 VM hosted in virtual box on a Win7 host. I do have the extensions installed.

Same disclaimer as Matthew, but this isn't likely supported because everything will be different running through the USB emulation layer of the virtualization host. It may "work".

ends up this is a problem with using a remote desktop connection with VMWare. When you connect through the vSphere console it works and sees the key without a problem.
