Freezing effects in a cue

One way is to set the rate of the effect to 0 in cue 2 and restore the rate to the original value in cue 3. 

You should be able to put a freeze command in a macro and execute the macro in cue 2 and then execute it again in cue 3 to resume.

I've never tried if from a cue but I have a button on my magic sheet for busking that does just that so I can freeze all my chases etc mid song and then resume as appropriate.

What command do you use in your freeze and resume macro?

Its actually the simplest of all macros it just consists of

Freeze Enter

(I did actually need to have it as a macro I could have put it as command text on the button on the sheet,  but I suspect when I did it, I was thinking I needed to do something harder so used a macro on the button).

Pressing the button again resumes.

I tried creating the freeze macro to no avail.

In macro editor, create new macro

Edit macro and select Freeze from commands

Then enter

Done

Runing this does not freeze running effects

I must be missing something...
