Always turn off the hard power switch or not?

Hello, my fellow and I have an ION 3000 in our venue, but we are wondering is it necessary to turn off the hard power switch everytime I power off ION?

Or just keep it at ON position?

We have UPS as the console power supply.

No requirement to turn the hard power switch off. Mine has been on for 10 years...

No requirement whatsoever.

Powering down the console turns off the computer, but leaves the computer's power supply on.

The hard switch turns off the power supply.

If you're concerned about vampire power usage while you're dark for extended periods of time, switch it off.
