controlling effects on subs

So I have a question for everyone as I'm new and still figuring it all out the best I can.

so I build a simple chase effect.

I then make a sub and attached the effect to it which controls the speed, wicked

I then make another sub which controls the bottom end of the intensity

so if I assign this sub to a fader in additive and start to slide it up the chase goes say from 0 to 100 to 100, now it will go to 20 to 100 to 20. also wicked

now how do I put the top end of the intensity also on a fader?

essentially I want to control the 1 speed, 2 bottom end, 3 top end all on sub/faders in a step based chase

I can do 1 and 2 not 3 that's what I need guidance/help on.

thank you way in advance

  • Not sure I understand your question but will try and answer anyway.

This sounds like it can all be done from 1 sub set over 3 faders

Fader x1 = Effect Rate (will control speed of the effect)

Fader x2 = Effect Size (will control the top end of the Intensity effect)

Fader x3 = Levels Only (will control the bottom end/background state)

This is assuming your using absolute FX with targets full (or 50%) and background and channel levels in sub set to full.
