the fixture MagVader from Licht Technik have a Fan defined with valus 0-11% in the user range.
Don't make any sense. Every time i like to use them i need to remind myself to alter the fan manualy.
Can it be repaired in the library that the range is 0-100?
Thanks a lot
FYI in the short term you can edit your personal version.
Copy the current version of the profile (find the fixtures softkey in patch), then you can change whatever you like.
This profile can be saved in a 'template' file (if you don't use one, now is a good time to start) or merged into other files as you want.
Do you happen to have a copy of the fixture's manual and DMX chart that I can reference when troubleshooting this profile. Additionally, what Eos fixture library build are you currently running? Thank you!
Sorry Therese for beeing late.
You can find the manual at:
There is no real dmx chart. But find information about the fan at page 38.
I run the standard fixture lib from v2.8.3
Thank you for the documentation. Cross referencing this manual with the current Eos fixture library I see that we have numerous MagVader profiles. Can you tell me which profile/mode is giving you issue?
It appears that there are several versions on the MagVader profile in current Eos software, however I'm unsure which profile/mode you are using specifically. In reference to page 38 of the linked manual, the DMX ranges for the fan parameter range from 0-255 (0% to 100%) but a home value other than 0 is not specified. Is the main issue with this profile the user defined values (0% to 11%) in ML controls or the lack of control of the fan?
in total it is the profile definition. As you mentioned, it is only allowing 0-11%
That is not making any sense at all.
Making it 0-100% is working fine.
And there is no home Value. Because you can define a hard value. But a Home of 0 is fine.
Understood! I will see if we can get this change made in the upcoming software release.
