I'm running nomad on a pc and I want it to be more secure and was hoping in a future software update for nomad maybe there could be a startup and shutdown mode where in settings you could select if you want nomad to run the shell full screen without the ability to close it by presssing the x on the title bar and in settings you also could have the option for a shutdown mode where you could shutdown the console from the browser (this would actually shutdown the computer), and the shell just like on any other eos family product. These features may sound silly but it will prevent people from going into the actual computer and messing around.
Hope you guys consider this and sorry for such a long post--Thanks Sam.
This is really a windows question, you are basically saying you want nomad to start on startup, for which you set it as the windows shell instead of explorer.exe and then you want it on exit to initiate a windows shutdown on exit which you can script. See https://superuser.com/questions/757401/on-start-up-only-launch-one-program-and-shut-down-on-exit for someone asking that question about windows.
Also iI you tick the "Full Screen Offline Editior" in the Nomads Settings you get to from the ETCNomad Shell app when you start Nomads, then it runs in full screen without the X.
Thanks so much. I tried this out and it works great.
