I am working on a show with multiple cue-lists triggered by timecode. I am trying to remove the cue-lists from faders. I have done this through fader config, but when a cue from that list is fired the cue-list reappears on the fader.
Is there a way to permanently remove the cue-list from a fader?
for a cuelist to fire it needs to live on a fader. if it messes with a fader page where you want to have empty slots that should stay empty, you can map the cuelists to a fader on a higher faderpage
That's not really the problem. The problem is someone covering for me not knowing/forgetting to put the fader up and some of the cues not running during the show. I just wanted them not to be able to accidentally run the show without one of the cue-lists.
they can't. executed or timecoded cuelists should load themselves to a fader if they're not living on a fader yet. but if they're already living on a fader, having said fader not at full might be a problem. sounds like you would want to have the cuelists living on a known position and having a macro run at the start of the show that will set those faders to 100
I've asked this question before. I trigger CueLists from Macros.
To alleviate the problem, I added a line in my Macros to delete the fader assignment after the execution.
