simple question

how do I set a specific fixture or channel to either be 0 or 100% (full on or full off)

do I have to set up a custom fixture for type or can I just change a setting in the specific fixture/channel?

  • you can either use curve 905 (Patch>Attributes) or make the channel a NonDim (select channel, click Type and then in the manufacturer Generic find NonDim at 50).

    but please note that just setting a dimmer to have a curve or change to nondim in the console doesn't mean it's safe to power moving lights or LEDs. they need direct power without a solenoid which a regular dimmer channel can never provide. (in case that's what you're looking to do)
