Need help here, but I’m thinking it’s a bug with 2.9.1. When I copy a cue that (doesn’t have an effect) to the next cue and then go to that cue, the effect comes back onto those channels. I am working in cue only mode and have tracking turned off any thoughts?? I downgraded to 2.7 and it works fine.
What do you mean by "comes back"?
The effect applies back to the channels that I removed it from.
Could you go through the process for me again, then? The first post doesn't mention removing an effect so I want to make sure I understand this process entirely, please.
Ive been told this might be you: https://www.facebook.com/groups/etceosprogrammers/permalink/2582543181833705/If that is the case, could you please send us your show file so we can take a look?
Yes, here it is, thanks!2019 - ACSI 2019-11-24 15-42-28.esf
I can see the Effect in Cue 58 in the file you sent- but it believes it has been added in that cue. If I delete 58, and then copy 57 to 58, I am not seeing the effect populate.Do you have a copy of the file in which 58 is not yet copied?
I'm not sure I do. It was really strange, copying cues with an effect and then taking the effect off in the copied cue. Now I had to go back to the previous cue and then reload the copied cue. What's weird is the cue list won't show an effect in that cue but the channel tombstone shows the effect still active on those channels. If that makes sense
Are you able to work around this and remove the effect after the fact?
Unfortunately no, the effect just keeps coming back applying to those channels. I am currently back to running 2.7 since that works fine.
