Smartfade 1248 - adding crossfades and level range to a sequence

However, I am curious as to how you are programming RGB fixtures on a non-ML SmartFade using only 1 channel per fixture. Are you only controlling intensity?

Sorry I should have been more specific. The rgb strips are connected to 1 dmx controller each. And they of course use 3 channels per fixture.

Also I want to go from ex. Channel 1-2-3 at 50% and 4-5-6 at 100% and then next step crossfades to 1-2-3 at 100% and 4-5-6 at 50% continuing in a loop recorded at a sequences.

Yes, this makes sense. If you follow the steps in my first reply, making 2 memories (one with channels 1>3 @ 50% and 4>6 @ 100%, the other with 1>3 @ 100% and 4>6 @ 50%). You can record this as a sequence on Memory 21, 22, 23, or 24 and fade it up manually without affecting the cues running on your Stack (GO button).

Got it to work as I intended. Had to get my head around the programming method.
One last thing.
What is the features in the LCD menu " adjust level range" and "set level range" exactly?

Bear with me here, I had to RTFM...

Let's say you have channels 1>3 at 100% and channels 4>6 at 50%. You go into the Channels menu and select Adjust Chan Range. You select channels 1>6 and roll the level down to 50%. This will proportionately adjust the levels of those six channels. Channels 1>3 will end up at 50% and channels 4>6 will end up at 25%.

Now let's say you have channels 1>3 at 100% and channels 4>6 at 50%. You go into the Channels menu and select Set Chan Range. You select channels 1>6 and roll the level down to 20%. This will set all channels in the range at 20% regardless of the level where they started.
