The one thing I've found myself wishing for on more than one occasion is the ability to copy from one parameter to another within one fixture. Even better would be to be able to exchange values between 2 parameters within one fixture. Here are the 2 places it came up most for me:
1) A circular copy for the RGB 1 parameters to and from the RGB 2 parameters on a VMS FX layer - essentially, swapping the color between parts of one of the canned color effects. This could also be very useful for an Aura when using the single fixture profile.
2) Moving the shutter parameter values 90º at a time around a fixture - copy Shutter 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, and 4 to 1, or swapping Shutter 2 to Shutter 4 for a horizontal flip.
I know there are other places this could be useful, but these were the ones I often wished I had on my last theatrical and my last big event.
