LED "A" Base Lamps

i'm curious if any theatres or even ETC folks experimented with any "A" screw base type LED Lamps for house Lights and have a nice fade with sensor + dimmers?

  • Hi LUMN8! Thanks for your idea. We have a brand new product that does exactly this - its called the ArcLamp. Here is a link to our website for more information http://www.etcconnect.com/arclamp/ The 120V version can be used with a Sensor + dimmer and provides great dimming down to about 15%. Alternatively, we have a low voltage version of ArcLamp that provides absolutely smooth dimming all the way down to zero - no stepping, no snap-out. This works by installing a separate, wall mounting ArcLamp driver in your dimmer room - you can use existing load wiring where practical. Your local ETC dealer will be able to arrange a demo if you are interested. Thanks again!
