I think this is more of an iOS / Android thing but perhaps ETC could put a bug in their ear.
WIth many professional users using apps to connect to closed networks and general purpose networks it would be great to have a new preference in the OS for what I would call professional apps, such as iRFU.
The idea would be that if the app was running in the fore ground it would have an optional setting to force the device to switch and stay attached to it's own specified WIFI network.
There would be two advantage to this:
1-boot iRFU and it automatically drops your general purpose network and go to your lighting network.
2- when you go out of range and then move back into range you do not have manually switch back to you lighting network from what ever network you device may have attached itself to when you move out of range of you lighting WIFI network.
I am constantly having to force WIFI network choices and it would be great if the app could help stay attached to it's preferred network if it was running in the foreground.
Thoughts?
