Similar to guided access on iOS, you could lock the view of the screen onto a magic sheet, for example, so you don't have inexperienced users finding themselves fiddling with the patch etc.
We have a simple magic sheet for use by drama students to control the lighting in the room without someone who knows what they are doing. But often they will press a button on the keyboard and find themselves in a different window and not know how to get back. So being able to lock the view would be really useful.
