Fan effect parameters over channel selections.

I'd love to fan effect size over channel selections.

For example to create a "Waves on the shore" effect without pixel mapping. I'd want my line of uplights (group 1) to be set at the same intensity of 40% then apply a linear intensity sine wave to the channels to create "waves." Now how do I decrease the size of the effect on one side of my setup so that it stays at constant intensity and gradually increases to the other side.

Suggested operators: [Group] [1] [Intensity] [Effect] [Size] [0] [Thru] [100] [Enter]

Is there already a way to do this? My potential thoughts for a workaround would be to have a cascaded entry for a dedicated cue that gets stopped halfway through. But it seems like there should be a better way.
