Hog4 PC cannot connect to a running show

A couple small things to check include:

• Make sure the Network Port on the Hog 4 PC matches the Rack Hog (you can only change this from the Hog State Control Panel, in the Startup tab)
• Is the Hog 4 PC running the exact same version of Hog 4 as the other devices?
• Make sure all netmasks are exactly the same

It’s all the same. 
port, version and netmask. 

If I run the Hog Pc as server, I can see this on the network page. 

I find it strange that both the Hog Rack (ip .32) and the Road Hog console (ip .253)  appear as “No” on the “Found” column. 

 in the hog rack and the console it doesn’t not show hog Pc  

What software version are you running?

v3.13.1 (b 2885) ... same in all devices

Is there any specific reason you are running on v3.13.1, and not 3.19.1, the current release? Would you be able to install a newer software version?

I thought of updating it but considering that the console can detect the show running on Hog Rack, I thought it would be something else wrong in Hog Pc. 

If you are able and willing to update, let's do that as there have been a lot of little cleanup things done over the past 4 years that might make our process easier here

My system runs on multiple switches with vLan’s, and I’ve just tested to connect the hog Pc to the same switch and the hog rack and it found the show, therefore inconcludente it is a vLan issue. 

I’ve had a similar issue before with a media server and we were able to solve it by tweaking the TTL. Is there a way to do this on hog ?

There is no way to edit TTL on Hog
