I created the stick using the Unetbootin software on a MAC as described in the user manual. I tried first with the mouse, keyboard, monitor and Super widget attached; then with nothing attached. Both times it hung with the title line text at the top of the screen.
I then created a stick in windows using the Linux stick maker software and it worked first time.
