One thing that has always annoyed me about hog is the inability to transition from one gobo to the next without it jumping to it on a zero fade that doesn't fit with the rest of a timed cue. Is there a way to do it or does have to look like crap? It's annoying because most lights go through the gobo wheel once smoothly and then once snapped. Same thing applies to the color wheel. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult, just another option with the encoder wheels along with slots and scroll.
Depending on the fixtures, you can use the "Beam Time" and/or "Color time" to get what you desire.
For example, on a VL-2500 to roll from 1 color to the second color, set your "Color Time" parameter to something like 10 seconds. Then set the color fade time to 0. You will roll the color wheel. You can do the same thing with gobos, etc.
