Soft button dont work when I press and hold a virtual master
Hi When I press and hold a list in the Cuelist directory soft buttons appear at the bottom of the screen as for example ''use HTP" and more, which they are not working!! Is this normal?
Hi, no it isn't normal. I just tested with v.3.11 on a Hog 4 and not seeing any issues.
What console is being used? What software version is installed? As a test, try a different show file and see if the response is the same. Possibly send a video showing the problem to mitch.peebles@highend.com
The consoles have always been capable of multitouch from a hardware perspective. (Ever since original production in 2012) The console operating system (Linux) has not been capable of multitouch until the 3.9.0 update in August of 2018. Now, keep in mind, hardware and operating system are now multitouch capable, but there are currently not any multitouch features that have been developed on the software level.
This would be a cool first multitouch function for all the Hogs, which don't have the hardware screen buttons. And multiple virtual fader movment, of course. And fireing several virtual cue lists or scenes with 10 fingers at once. :-)
I've always thought it's a bit cheeky of HES to mention the desks' multi-touch screens in their promo/advertising, when they aren't actually usable in that way...
