I would like to be able to have 2 views that use the same group and palette windows without each view grabbing them from one another.
For example:
View 1 has a large plot window, small group, colour and position windows.
View 22 has a large group window and nothing else.
I am working in View 1 when I realise I want my large group window so I press View 22, my small group window then moves from View 1 into the View 22 size and position which in this case covers the plot window, after I've made my selection I want the large group window gone and the small one back, the only way is to press View 1 again. I would like for it to stay where it was in View 1 and then simply open a 2nd Group window.
I have tried making copies and it doesn't work. I think it would need for example, a dotted window number a bit like compound fixtures.
So main Group, then Group.1 then Group.2 every time you make a copy. Having to keep going back and forth through views that are some distance from one another is time consuming, this is especially hard on the smaller versions of consoles as you only get 5 views at a time, and even harder on PC.
