This console needs the ability to write script of some kind that can be executed like a macro. Macros take way too long and are very limited...
For instance: I'm trying to switch over 150 lighting fixtures RGBW channels to be read between ArtNet and HogNet instantaneously so I can feed video from Resolume into my rig but still control the movement from the console live. As far as I know, the only way to do this is to do a billion keystroke macros. It's time consuming to create and takes way too long to execute. I don't see any reason why this can't be done in an instant. I would love to be able to write out something along the lines of...
set input artnet 1/8 > 1/11 + 1/25 > 1/28 + 1/42 > 1/45 + 1/59 > 1/62 + ....
and then the opposite
set input hognet 1/8 > 1/11 + 1/25 > 1/28 + 1/42 > 1/45 + 1/59 > 1/62 + ....
