Artnet in Request: From Selection

Would be VERY helpful (especially in a Road House like ours) when an LD comes in and only wants the rig, but not the architectural items…to be able to select fixtures and press "ARTNET IN."

That way we don't have to go through the DMX window, cell by cell, line by line and select. Would also make changeovers between opening acts and headliners much simpler.

Run opener on house Roadhog…
Intermission…
Select Rig…"Artnet in from selection" button…done.

  • Colin, if we're going to go that far with the request, why not just have 'Art-Net In' a value that we can record in a cue? Then I can switch between HogNet and Art-Net for any given parameter within a running cue. If you want to leave it Art-Net In, then just Park it.
    This could work in a similar way to how we use Plots when we pixelmap fixtures.
