Road hog 4 info

Hi,
I have to know some info about the Road Hog 4...

I see that there isn't the trackball on board ... it's possible to use an external usb trackball? HES have a specific one?

For my work I need 12 dmx output ... I see that the console have 4 on board and up to 8 universes of DMX 512 over ArtNet or sACN ....
with a console + dp8000 I can use 12 DMx output? (4x internal e 8x dp8000)?? or more?

How many external touch screen can I use? HES have specific one?

Thanks
:):):)
  • RoadHog 4 have 8 DMX universes, 4 onboard. If you need more you can use DP 8000 (16 DMX universes, 8 physical output)

You can plug an external usb trackball that can be used as mouse, but I don't see how to use it for Pan and tilt.

You can use 1 external touch screens, from elo touch, references are in the section 3.1.8 p53 of the hog 4 manual.

    Hope this help
  • Roadhog4 can have one external monitor or touchscreen. It also has Hognet , which allows you to add a DP8K.
  • So I assume you can use any brand of artnet>dmx node to get 8 universes?
  • I love the trackball and not the mouse because the Track don't need space for movement...

BUT move Pan and Tilt with the ext track will be very nice:) or improve the Trackball on the Touch screen.....
  • Is it possible to use a Super Widget on a Roadhog 4...(?)

Yes. Unlike the Roadhog3, the Roadhog4 is expandable.

    Good question!!!
The wings are working with HOG PC in Nano Mode, which is the same layout like the Roahog.
    So probably it should work

But for a 100% correct answer some HES Stuff needs to answer this
