Roadhog 4 Timecode

i'v got 2 LTC widgets (the blue ones) and they worked every time i use them on a roadhog or wholehog III. But now i've converted a show from Roadhog to Roadhog 4 and LTC widget is not working or the console can't handle the timecode.

LTC widget is reconized by the console, i can choose the LTC widget from TC source's but the timecode-clock won't run. When i use the little lamp-icon next tot the widget ( in Setup > Control Panel > System Info) the LED's on the TC are flashing en it gives its serial. Bu tno timecode reading in de clock.

Help anyone??
  • Problem solved, in Hog 4 you have to enable Timecode widgets in the DMX Processor Settings window. (Setup > Network > DMX Processor)

Anoying thing that happens when you enable the "View Timecode" option, it covers the "Settings" buttons in the network window.

You are correct TC setup is now done on within the DMX settings.
The reason for this is you can now plug in a TC widget into the DP8K and run TC over the network. We did this as we no long support the IOP.

Will you eventually be adding the ability to run MIDI notes and/or MSC over the network via MIDI/LTC widgets connected to a DP8K?

This would be very useful, given the limitations on the maximum length of MIDI cables.

I'm sorry but MIDI will only be supported when connected to the console.
This has to do with some of the limitations of MIDI and is one of the reasons we implemented OSC.
