Help please. RH4 thinks it's a Nano4

Hog peeps,
Just received and unboxed my new RH4. When in a show, the choose buttons and faders are not recognized/ don't function. When I ran diagnostics, the buttons and faders are recognized and function when testing in the "Nano4" tab.
Any help in letting the software know that it's in a RH4 would be greatly appreciated.
My next step is to try to do a clean software install. Currently trying to create a bootable USB stick with my mac and having difficulty getting terminal to bend to my will.

I'm sure you have probably talked to HES support by now and hopefully they got you sorted.

Just to let you know:

the red stick that came with your console is already bootable....
So you can forget those commands in terminal...
Just delete the stuff which is on it an go on with extracting the iso image with the usb-stick creator software
also the red stick should have a full install of the actual software already on it
