Preview Package

Hi there,

In the Media Picker i can assign images to my Gobo's, Colours, Prisms, etc. This creates a custom Preview Package. How can i copy this PRview Package to a USB-stick so ican use it on other consoles?

It won't let me copy it from the Preview Package folder on the console.

Thanks.

  • And that's exactly the issue. For example i have a Ayrton Kyalami which has 24 colors and 80 gob's or something. When i set the images for all those gobo's and colors it works for that showfile.

If i start a new show, patch a Kyalami, i have to set all the images again. If i could export the Preview Package separately and apply them in my new show that would be a lot quicker and easier.

Or maybe if i export my fixture from the fixturebuilder it should also include those images i set manually.

Looking at the GDTF format i think its logical to include the images within the fixture.
Are there any thoughts about how this is going to work in the future?

And when i add those images to my fixture and export them from the fixture builder, i add a Revision note (added images) and upload them to the library hub so everyone can enjoy nice images in the Media Picker rather than Gobo 1 thru 80 or Color 1 thru 24....
