Hog5 playback issues

Hello!

Been playing with my HPU and Flex hog on v5.0.1 and have noticed if they lose network connectivity (as in the HPU is processing the show data and the FlexHog network cable gets unplugged and then re-plugged) playback starts to fail. Cues try to complete but fail to go all the way. Sometimes after 20 seconds the cue will complete. Logging in and out with the FlexHog does not solve the issue. Only logging off the show from the HPU and restarting the show corrects the problem.

  • I had that exact same scenario happen with an HPU setup as the “server” and a Stage Hog connected to show. The Stage Hog got unplugged accidentally. When I reconnected and logged back in I had that same thing happen with cues taking a long time to complete. Server log off was the fix, but it is not an ideal fix while trying to run a show.
