Assign DMX channel as master for scene/list

Many theaters are upgrading their conventionals to LED-fixtures. These LED fixtures have different options to give them the right color. A lot of touring LD's still program only Deskchannels for their frontlights and its up to the venue to arrange the correct coloring of the fixtures.

Now we want to be able to color the fixtures from the house system while the LD only has to take care of the Deskchannels.

For this to work we want to split the fixture in 2 parts: part 1. Deskchannel part 2. Coloring
part 1. Is gonna be controlled by the LD from the visiting party
part 2. Is gonna be controlled by the house system

part 1. Deskchannels has to be the same always and should be on one universe. The DMX-channels should be on a logical order.

part 2.Color Setting is gonna change every day by the house and the DMX channels can be on different universes.

What would be the best approach to get this working?

Is it possible to assign a incoming DMX channel to the intensity for a scene or a list?
For the back screen which we light with cyclites, most of the time we use four different colors. We were thinking if we can build a Cuelist with colors than we can set the color from the HPU and let the visiting LD take control of the cyclites with only a deskchannel. Most of the time one group/color of cyclites are 3 or 4 different dimmerchannels.

So if we build four different cuelists with colors we can choose a color for every group of cyclites from the house system and let de visiting LD take control of the intensity.

We already own 2 different HOG consoles and would bring a HPU to take care of this. Using the consoles as a remote for the HPU.

Thanks in advance and Cheers!
