Exporting a show from Expression Offline to Insight 3 WITHOUT a diskette?

Hi all...

I would like to use the Expression Offline software to build a show from home and then transfer it to the Insight 3 at the theatre.  However, my computers do not have diskette output options so I am wondering if there are any direct-connect options OR other alternatives available to me?  I'm sure I could purchase some sort of diskette unit that would connect to my PC or Laptop but I'd rather not spend for a one-time use.

Thanks so much.

  • No way to do it without a diskette.  External USB floppy drives are not very expensive ($19.95 at Walmart of all places!).  Or you must know someone with a diskette drive; your grandparents' computer perhaps?  If nothing else, I bet someone at ETC would be willing to transfer the file to a floppy if you pay for the disk and shipping.  Where are you?  Perhaps there's a forum member nearby able to assist.

  • Bob;

    You do indeed need a disk drive to transfer a show from a computer running offline to a console. If you email me your show file, I would be happy to put it on a disk, test it in a console and send it out to you.

    email me off list and we can work out the details
