Expression 3 "wireless" remote

Hi folks,

one for the older members maybe.

Is there a way to use a smartphone with the Expression 3?

I seem to remember that ETC had a wireless remote at one time. I have a switch, Wifi, and phone, but haven't seen any apps for anything like the Expression . . . yet.

Any thoughts or suggestions wold be greatly appreciated.

I don't think ETC is going to produce a wireless remote for the Expression series. Your best bet is using an OSC remote through a laptop to output MIDI commands to the Expression.

As one of the older members... ETC did have a wireless remote for the Expression line but it was based on radio broadcast and not WIFI. What are you looking to do?

Thank you all who posted about the Expression 3 remote. It was pretty much as I expected that there isn't anything for today's technology. And while I HAD seen the one ETC originally made, it disappeared long ago. Fortunately, the theater I program for will be updating their equipment along with their theater in the near future. I can survive until then.
