Support for an Obsession

Sorry that you are having problems. What type of Obsession is it a 1 or a 2?
Which dipswitches are you referring too?

This is an obsession 1 and the dipswitches are inside the control surface on the main board.

Thanks for the additional information. When you say it will power up but not start I am not sure I understand what you mean. What are you seeing on the screens after boot?

Also there is an unlabeled VGA port on the back of the console that is a direct diagnostic port. If you connect to that while it boots, you can see if there are any dos errors or disk errors.

Try that and reply back with what you see.

When plugging into the unlabeled VGA port on the back it boots but says
CMOS system options not set
CMOS display type mismatch
keyboard error

Run setup utility
Press <f1> to resume

I can't find a keyboard port PS/2 or USB and the faceplates f1 doesn't help
