Product enhancement: OLED Keycaps?

I read about this keyboard today:

and thought that OLED keys might offer the advantage of the configurable buttons much like the current touchscreen does but with the added benefit of a potentially more satisfying key press feel.

One solution I found a while back is an x-keys device.
http://www.ymouse.com/xkeys.php
Basically you can record a sequence of key strokes to be played back with a single button push. So anything that has a keyboard shortcut (which is just about everything) can be programmed into a one button "macro".

That keyboard is a seriously cool idea.
But they've been talking about it for four or five years!
The 'estimated' pricetag has jumped up and down by a good few thousand USD several times as well.
Somehow I doubt that it'll exist anytime soon, if ever...
