Express 48/96

Hi, i was wondering since there is an "off-line" program to make shows. is there an add on to that gives a simulated visual of what the show would look like if u could set up the lights and stuff, also. could u make a show in the offline program and connect to the board threw LAN cable and play it that that?

The Express/Expression offline editor is offline only. It doesn't output any levels, meaning you can't connect a visualiser to it.

Our newer consoles like Eos and Congo do support this with their offline editors - they output levels at a reduced rate that can be picked up by a visualiser like WYSIWYG (http://www.cast-soft.com/) or Capture (http://www.capturesweden.com/).

The only way to use visualisers like this with Express is to use a physical console and a DMX-USB device that works with your visualiser.

Similarly, the offline editor for Express doesn't provide remote control of the console, and again this is provided with our newer consoles (It's known as 'Client' functionality).

    Hope that helps.
