Our 18 year old EXP3 lost its memory a short while back. We replaced the "Super Caps" and things went well until we had to turn off for a couple of weeks to protect against hurricane damage. So was thinking of going for the battery mod upgrade kit. But with two failures in as many months - would it help us, or is something else causing the poroblems?
So, question; Does anyone have an old EXP3 mothballed somewhere that has a working CPU we could salvage? We're a not for profit, volunteer community theatre and the recent purchase of a (great) ETC Element 2 for the main theatre flattened our bank account!
