.SHW to .EXP

I just received a show from a client that is in the .shw format as it was written on an emphasis server.  They need to run the file on an express 48/96, which I believe only reads .exp files, correct?

Is there a way to convert the file using the Expression off-line editor? I have been looking but don't have time to do a lot of research.

  • Hi Mark,

The *.shw is the native show file format for Expression/Express.  If your client saved the Emphasis show in that format, you should be able to read it into the Express console directly.  Just rename the file to "exp2.shw".
