Key Switch on Expression?

Hello,

Expressions could have 2 key switches  

1 that was a 'lock out' and 1 that had a 'A' / 'B' selector  

The A/B selector was for when you had 2 EXPs connected together. You could select which unit was Master / Active / Live.

Sorry that I did not clarify in the first place :-)

 It is a console Power Lockout....It should be labeled On/Off

Should point out that later Expression consoles didn't have the power keyswitch, only the A/B one that is (in most cases) useless.

Oh....the cute little key...EAO 311.   It's the same as the DAS lockouts, etc.

Quick, guess how much it's going to cost you to replace?.....(unless you buy 100 of them.)

LOL....more than most people think. The problem is that the keys that ETC has in stock only come with the locks. So to get the key, you need to buy the lock that goes with it

It's even more amusing when you find the EAO 311 keyswitch on some other completely unrelated product.  I've seen it on a revolving door control panel at a local hospital, and another ETC employee told me he saw one on a Best Buy security system panel.  I carry a 311 key on my everyday keychain, and I'm sure plenty of other ETC techs & users do too.  Ah, the mischief we could get into... :-D
