trying to connect stage ape LED 116 to etc express

I am working on a limited budget and have purchased LED stage ape 116 and am having trouble with the dmx output recognized. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

I have no experience with this product, but in the Express Setup/Output configuration, you might want to try slowing the DMX speed for that port to medium.
